About Me

I hold a Writing degree, and am unashamed! I write because I have to. I’m afraid if I didn’t I would explode. I love words. I love phrases. I love being able to express to others the jumbled mess constantly running through my mind. Writing is a powerful tool, and should be used passionately, never abused. Blogging is merely the platform I use to shout out my opinions and ideas while safely hidden behind the screen of my Macbook. Because I want to be heard, however small my voice may be.

I am also funny. Like, hysterical really.

I am a native Oregonian, raised in a tight-knit  family who vocalize their opinions frequently and often at the same time. No we are not Italian, we are just loud. I started this blog thinking I would write reviews, like every other blogger, but that soon fell to the wayside as I realized writing about my, at times, weird life and crazy family was far more entertaining, for both me and my readers. Who doesn’t want to read about some little 5’2, frizzy-haired girl’s life?

Most importantly is my relationship with God, my salvation in Christ, which my entire life has been built upon. I am a Christian who daily discovers the endlessness of God’s mercy and love. If for nothing else I write because He has put the words in me, and it’s the least I can do to pour them back out.

I may not know everything about everything, but I enjoy writing about life as I see it. Maybe you’ll enjoy seeing it my way too.

  1. One of the things that I learned and remembered from college was from Plato’s Five Dialogues. “I know that I do not know.” That is the beginning of wisdom. You are on the right track. 🙂
